"The Rest" is a group of songs that were written from 2012-2015. The demos kept getting pushed to the side to make room for other projects. Because of different ideas, and struggling with a musical identity, they almost never saw the light of day. Many of the first songs were recorded as "Jonah Of The Sun" but for personal reasons most were destroyed. No known copies of those songs exist. Some of the songs survived, and new songs were written. Out of the ashes of the destroyed, and with a new outlook on life, Jonah Sun- "The Rest" was born.. Whittled down to 6 carefully chosen songs, This album is about love, heartbreak ,triumphs, new beginnings, and enjoying life. Through many ups and downs, highs and lows. I give you. "The Rest"
